Notice to Depositors dated 12 May 2017 is given that:
- Deposit Insurance Board (DIB) has commenced the process of stocktaking and verification of assets and liabilities of the said FBME Bank (Under Liquidation) (FBME).
- Depositors of FBME will be notified by DIB of the Pay-out Plan of their protected deposits in accordance with the law upon completion of the verification of the deposit liabilities.
NB: no timeline has been given for notice to depositors of the Pay-out Plan.
Also, DIB has given a Notice to the General Public dated 12 May 2017 including that all creditors other than depositors of FBME should submit their claims with supporting documents not later than Monday, 12 June 2017.
